Roles and Permissions

Overview

The Roles and Permissions page lets a Tenant Admin manage role-based access control (RBAC) for tenant users.

From this page, you can:

  • View default roles (for example, Tenant Admin and Tenant User)
  • Review the permissions assigned to each role
  • Create custom tenant roles when default roles do not meet your access requirements

Prerequisites

  • Tenant Admin access — You must log in as a Tenant Admin to manage roles and permissions.

Manage Roles and Permissions

Step 1: Open Roles and Permissions

  1. Log in as a Tenant Admin.
  2. In the left sidebar, open Roles and Permissions.

Step 2: Review Default Roles

  1. Locate the default roles in the role list.
  2. Click View Details for the role to review its assigned permissions.

Step 3: Create a Custom Role (Optional)

  1. Click Create Role.
  2. Enter the role name and description.
  3. Click Submit.

Step 4: Add Permissions to a Custom Role

  1. Click the ellipsis (3-dot menu) on the created role and select Edit Role.
  2. Select the required permissions for the role.
  3. Click Save.
  4. You can now assign this custom role when creating tenant users. See Manage Tenant Users for details.
