Important Considerations

Data Loss

  • Permanent Deletion - All Bridge-related data will be deleted
  • Backup First - Export all necessary data before uninstallation
  • No Recovery - No automated recovery mechanism exists
  • Archive Strategy - Consider archiving data before deletion

Infrastructure Impact

  • Resource Availability - Infrastructure returns to standalone mode
  • Configuration Loss - All Bridge configurations will be removed
  • Integration Loss - Any integrations with Bridge will be severed
  • Access Control - Bridge-based access controls will be removed

Timeline

  • Planning - Allow time for data extraction and planning
  • Execution - Uninstallation takes time (exact duration varies)
  • Verification - Post-uninstallation verification may be needed
  • Support - Armada support team manages the entire process

Post-Uninstallation

After uninstallation:

  1. Verify Removal - Confirm all Bridge components are removed
  2. Cleanup - Remove any remaining Bridge configurations
  3. Infrastructure Check - Verify infrastructure stability
  4. Documentation - Archive all related documentation
  5. Support Closure - Close support tickets related to Bridge

Alternative: Maintenance Mode

If you need temporary access suspension rather than complete uninstallation:

  • Discuss with Armada support team
  • Pause deployments rather than remove them
  • Maintain configuration for future re-deployment
  • Preserve data and settings
