Volumes
Overview
Volumes in AI Studio provide persistent storage that you can attach to environments and jobs. You create a volume by choosing a name, storage type, size in GB, and optional description. New volumes appear in the Volumes tab and may take a few minutes to move from Pending to Available.
Prerequisites
- A JupyterHub template cluster exists — created by the Tenant Admin using the JupyterHub with KAI Scheduler cluster template
- You have a tenant user account — created by a Tenant Admin
- A storage class
Create Volume
Step 1: Open Volumes and Create
- Log in to Armada Bridge as a tenant user.
- In the left sidebar, click AI Studio. In the new tab that opens, click Volumes in the sidebar, then click Create Volumes.

Step 2: Configure Volume
- Enter Volume Name, select Storage Type, specify Size (GB), add Description (optional), and click Create Volume.

Step 3: Verify Volume
- The new volume appears in the Volumes tab and may take a few minutes to move from Pending to Available.
