Getting Started with Security Groups

Use this workflow to create and configure security groups for your tenant.

Prerequisites​

  • Log in as a Tenant Admin.
  • Ensure the topology includes F5 and external-server nodes.

Step 1: Open Create Security Group Form​

  1. Go to the Security Groups sidebar.
  2. Click Create Security Group.

Step 2: Add Details and Rules​

  1. Enter Name and Description.
  2. In the INBOUND RULES section, click Add Rule and configure:
    • Subnet: 0.0.0.0
    • Protocol: all
    • Port: 1-65500
  3. If required, add OUTBOUND RULES.
  4. Click Create.

Step 3: Verify Security Group​

  1. Click the security group view icon to see the rules and configuration.
  2. Confirm the inbound rules are applied as expected.
